Koa Maryland & Washington, DC Kids T-Ball and Baseball Programs and Clinics
Koa Sports is the leader in instructional baseball programs for kids and young adults in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We have skills and drills clinic opportunities for all ages and abilities. Did you know that many of our instructors have played at the collegiate and professional levels, and our Advisory Board even has a former World Series player? Check out our staff. Who better to teach young athletes than those who have played at the highest level.

Cabin John Local Park: (7401 MacArthur Blvd. Cabin John MD 20818) From Wilson La. go right onto MacArthur, park is on the right just after one lane bridge.
Luxmanor ES: (6201 Tilden La. Rockville MD 20852) From Bethesda, go North on Old Georgetown Rd. Turn left on Tilden La. (opposite Nicholson La.). School is on the right.
Walt Whitman HS: (7100 Whittier Blvd. Bethesda MD 20817)Take Beltway to River Rd. exit toward Washington, D.C. Take River Road to Whittier Blvd. Turn left onto Whittier Blvd. School is about one half mile on the left.
Westland MS: (5511 Massachusetts Ave., Bethesda 20816) Beltway to River Road exit toward Washington, DC. Turn right onto Goldsboro Ave. Turn left onto Massachusetts Ave. School is on the left next to Little Falls Library.
FALL 2011 Co-Ed PRE-K T-BALL PROGRAM (6 WEEKS)

Calling all Pre-K's -- what to do when school is only a half a day? Bring your friends and come out for Koa's co-ed T-Ball program! Our 6 week instructional introduction to America's favorite past time teaches the fundamentals, and includes games and tons of fun! Four weekly sessions to choose from-- register for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Sign up for more than 1 weekly session for even more T-Ball fun as long as space is available! Bring your glove and plenty of water - we provide everything else.
Ages: 4 and 5 year olds in Pre-K (Co-ed)
Dates: Starts week of 9/12 goes through
10/21 - Makeup week 10/24 (no class 9/29)
Days: Mondays or Wednesdays or Thursdays or Fridays
Time: 1:00-2:00pm

K-1 T-Ball (6 Weeks) - CLINIC COMPLETED
Ages: K & 1st Graders (Co-ed)
Days: Sundays 9/11-10/16 (10/23 make-up date)
Times: 11:00am-12:30pm
Location: Potomac ES (10311 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854)
Cost: $140.00 includes a reversible jersey
Program: Koa's T-Ball program will focus on fundamentals and fun! We'll introduce throwing, catching, hitting and defense through exciting drills. Then we'll try it all out in our weekly games! Players in the K-1 T-Ball program will work primarily off the Tee with some coach pitch as well. Our small class sizes ensure plenty of individual attention. Players should bring gloves and we'll provide all the other equipment. Note: This is a drop-off program, but parents are always welcome to stay and watch.

Players in the Intro to Machine Pitch will work on transitioning to the machine pitch game with an eye to playing in the Spartan League next fall. SUMMER 2011 BASEBALL CLINICS

Cost: $140 (if you are not currently in a Koa ball program you must have a Koa hat -- Price $12.50)
Program: Looking for some great off-season training? Check out our 6 week show-up and play baseball program! We’ll run a practice and then have a scrimmage each week. Koa’s professional baseball staff will coach the 2 hour program. Come out for some valuable instruction and plenty of baseball fun!
