Congratulations to our latest coach and player of the month, this time for July 2017!
Coach Brandon Tates
Coach Brandon has had a busy summer hosting private lessons, running nightly skills clinics, and leading our first Koa Basketball Camp at Koa Headquarters. Coach Brandon has spent countless hours each day in July dedicating his time to improving the basketball skills of our athletes. He is the first one to step up and fill-in coaching slot for any Koa basketball programs. When we think of our core values (positive, dedicated, team-first, fun), Coach Brandon is the first name that comes to mind—which is why we’ve named him July’s Coach of the Month! Keep up the great work, Coach Brandon!
Player: Seth K.
Seth had a great summer season as a member of Koa’s 12U Travel team. At the Cooperstown All-Star Village tournament in New York, Seth hit two home runs and came up with clutch hits every time the team needed it. His offensive presence could not go unnoticed. He was a big part of why the team posted Koa’s best ever pool play record at Cooperstown, winning four of six games in pool play. Congrats on a great run, Seth, and keep up the great work!
