A – It’s easy to play on a Koa K-2 team -- simply click here to register! At each session girls will be divided into teams for instructional games.
Q – Who will coach the teams?
A – At Koa Sports, we believe kids can get the best training from experienced coaches and instructors (check out our Coach Bio page (click here for bios). Most of our coaches are collegiate athletes and they will run the pre-game clinics and coach the instructional games. The parents get to enjoy the games and cheer on their athletes from the sidelines.
Q – When will the games be held?
A – We will play on Sunday afternoons. A pre-game clinic going over different fundamentals each week will be held immediately before an instructional game. The program starts on Sunday the week of September 12 and runs through October 17 with October 24th reserved as a rain date. All games will be held in the Potomac/Bethesda/Rockville area.
Q -- Will there be a mid-week practice?
A -- No, not at the K-2 level.
Q – What will you do at the pre-game practice?
A – Our collegiate level coaches will have a plan each week, focusing on player development.
Q – Will the games have umpires?

Q – How long is the season?
A – The season will have approximately 7 games, with a possible double-header depending on rainouts.

Q – How much does it cost to play in the Koa K-2 Fall Softball Program?
A – The fee per player is $160.00 and includes a Koa Jersey and professional coaching.
Q – What if I already play another fall sport?
A – Koa believes kids should be playing several sports, especially at this age. We will work with you to find a placement that will fit your schedule. Our Sunday schedule will eliminate many fall soccer conflicts. |
