Spring Skills Clinic hosted by Rio Olympian Stefanie Fee

 

Have you heard the news? Rio Olympian Stefanie Fee has joined Koa, and will be hosting her first Skills Clinic with Koa this Spring!

Join us on Sunday 05/14 to sharpen your foundational skills and to develop elite techniques with Rio Olympian Stefanie Fee. This Koa Clinic will specifically focus on 1v1 defense, backhand options, ball handling skills, and shot selection in the attacking circle. Stefanie wants to help you take your game to the next level!

Koa Spring Field Hockey Clinics

Join Koa this Spring for an outdoor field hockey clinic and leave with an improved skill set, a group of new friends and a new found energy for the game.

Our field hockey clinics are exactly what you’d expect from a Koa program — well organized, carefully game-planned and operated by a group of high-energy, knowledgeable coaches. Consisting of seven weeks of skills, drills and some game-simulated scrimmages, this is the perfect place for your child to learn the game or help take their stick-skills to the next level!

Here are the clinic details:

K-8th Grade Weekday Clinic:

When: You would pick one day to register for and go to that day/location each week! So, clinic is only a one day a week commitment.

  • Tuesday Clinic @ 6:00PM – 7:00PM
  • Wednesday Clinic @ 6:00PM – 7:00PM

Where:

  • Tuesdays @ Luxmanor Elementary School (6201 Tilden Lane, Rockville, MD 20852)
  • Wednesdays @ Carderock Elementary School (7401 Persimmon Tree Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817)

Dates:

  • Tuesdays 04/04 – 05/23 (No practice during Spring Break 04/11)
  • Wednesdays 04/05 – 05/24 (No practice during Spring Break 04/12)

Cost: $175

The Spring Clinic is a weekday clinic for both experienced and beginner field hockey players. During the practice, the players will be taught the fundamental skills of field hockey. At the end of each practice, they will get to test their newly learned skills in a fun game scenario drill or in a scrimmage. All players will be divided equally into appropriate age and skill level groups.

K-1st Grade Sunday Clinic

When: Sundays @ 1:00pm – 2:00pm

WhereStone Ridge School (9101 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814)

Dates: 04/02 – 05/21 (No practice on Easter Sunday 04/16)

Cost: $175

The K-1st Spring Clinic is a Sunday clinic for both experienced and beginner field hockey players. During the practice, the players will be taught the fundamental skills of field hockey. At the end of each practice, they will get to test their newly learned skills in a fun game scenario drill or in a scrimmage.

9th – 12th Grade High School Clinic

When: Sundays @ 11:30am – 12:30pm

WhereSt. Andrew’s Episcopal School (8804 Postoak Rd, Potomac, MD 20854)

Dates: 03/26 – 05/21 (No practice on Easter Sunday 04/16 or Mother’s Day 5/14)

Cost: $175

This Spring Clinic is for High School athletes looking to take their game to the next level during the off-season. Practices will be on Sundays for 1 hour (03/26 – 05/21). During the 1 hour practice, the players will be taught new skills and the fundamentals will be reinforced. The focus will be on more advanced skills, game tactics and overall game strategies. Come on out and keep your skills sharp! It’s never too early to get ready for pre-season and tryouts!
