James Douglas Jr. is originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Pocomoke City). After graduating from Pocomoke High School in 2010, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management/Business at Coppin State University located in Baltimore City, MD.

Throughout his career, James played soccer, basketball, and football, with hoops being his favorite sport of them all. While attending Pocomoke High School, he played three years of varsity soccer and basketball and was a 2-time MPSSAA HS soccer champion (07, 08) and a MPSSAA Basketball State finalist (09).

James is excited to use his passion for sports to be a coach and a mentor, teaching life lessons as well as sports skills. In his own words: “I know firsthand how much of a positive impact sports and coaches can have on children’s lives.”
