Jimmie Parker started playing basketball when he was in 9th grade. Standing 6’6″ but lacking coordination, he only played in two games on a 4-16 team. He went on to become the first player out of not only his high school, but his conference, to receive a Division I scholarship and headed off to Drexel University. After two unsuccessful attempts to play in the NBA, he took his talents to the office and enjoyed a very successful career as a salesperson for Fortune 500 companies for the next fifteen years. Post early retirement, he started in his passion of training for fitness and basketball. Over the last fifteen years, he’s had the privilege of coaching players of all levels. His speciality is teaching the fundamentals: shooting and building skills at multiple positions.
