John Paseur is from McLean, Virginia. He attended The Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland where he played varsity baseball for two years. After high school, John played a little D3 baseball for Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated from in 2016.
John’s coaching and mentor experience include his role in organizing the Johns Hopkins Club Baseball team, working with Impact Sports Baltimore, and coaching baseball during his undergrad. He has an extensive background in coaching including time with middle school baseball at Calvert School in Baltimore, and middle school and varsity programs at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School.
This is John’s third year with Koa. He coached the Splitters in the fall of 2016, spring of 2017, including two championships in fall 2017 and spring 2019. He has also worked with the 2017 Travel U10 team and secured a championship win at the Batten Down the Hatches Tournament.
When John is not on the field, he enjoys basketball, and supporting his local teams the Washington Redskins and the Nationals.
