Around the Horn

Hello all, and welcome to the beginning of the 2018 spring baseball season here at Koa Sports! My name is Aidan Edelman, and I will be bringing you our Around the Horn® blog each week from now through the end of the season!

For those of you who are new to the Koa baseball program, or need a refresher, let me explain. Around the Horn® is our weekly baseball blog, consisting of summaries of every game played across both our BABL and travel levels every week. It’s been the one place you need to go to get caught up on the weekend that was – you’ll find game summaries, player- and pitcher-of-the-week nominees, up-to-date standings, and all the best photos from the games!

What We’re Adding

This season we will be doing a little bit more. Not only will we continue to provide game recaps, but I will be doing additional baseball writing, too. We’ll mostly be covering topics found in the physical, mental, and emotional sides of baseball. We’ll also cover the general landscape of youth sports a little bit as well. I’m excited to add this new element to Around the Horn® and hope you enjoy the extra insight that my fellow coaches and I will be providing.

This is one of the many ways that Koa is different. We cover the season from start to finish. We publish what we see, so that all our families can stay up-to-date on the season. Our whole community gets involved in the process. And we are always looking for ways to make our blog better – the pictures we receive from parents throughout the season really capture the essence of what Koa baseball is all about. We don’t just want you to come to us to play baseball – we want to give you something more. We care about providing the best baseball experience, and we feel that our blog helps us do that.

Around the Horn® is suitable for all ages and will be available on our website. We hope you read along throughout this spring, and we hope you enjoy!

We’re excited to have you all along for the ride here at Koa Sports!
