January 2020 Newsletter- Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
January, the month of failed resolutions, cold weather, and a month that lasts forever. I believe if you can make “it” 90 days you have made a lifestyle adjustment. Whether it’s eating cleaner, exercising more, reducing time online, reading more, or etc… I hope you are off to a good start.
I have 3 goals to improve Koa for 2020:
- Finish our new office/parent lounge project!
- One Koa.
- Ensure our 4th core value is being practiced: FUN.
Goal 1- we have received all of our permits from the county and the construction should be completed on or before close of business 2/21. The extra office space will be amazing for our administrative staff’s productivity and I’ll finally have a private office! We are also excited for an improved parent experience upstairs, the view is great of the batting cages.
Goal 2- connecting all of our programs and staff, whether it’s flag football, field hockey, tennis, baseball, camp, or hoops. The Koa experience, messaging, and quality of coaching is consistent and top-notch.
Goal 3- making sure our administrators, coaches, athletes, and parents are having fun during their time at Koa. Work hard, play hard is real and a common trait of championship organizations. Let’s not forget about how much fun our Washington Nationals had this season, “dooot doooooot doot do!”
Thank you and have a fun Superbowl Sunday!
