Field Hockey Rec League (2nd-8th Grade)

Spring 2021 Rec League

Our most popular field hockey program is back! This program is for both experienced and inexperienced players. During Spring Rec League, players will be placed on teams. Players can join with a group of friends or they can join as a "Free Agent" and be put onto one of Koa's house teams with other "free agents" and make new friends! Each team will play for 1.5 hours each Sunday. They will have a 45-minute practice session first and then play in a game against another team for 45 minutes.

There are 2 options for this Rec League Season. You can choose to commit for the full 10 weeks or you can choose to do a 5 Week Session.

Cost: 

  • 10 weeks: $425 & 5 weeks: $220
  • When: Sunday’s 3/21 - 6/6 (No play 4/4 & 5/30)
    • 10 weeks 3/21-6/6
    • 5 Weeks - Session 1: 3/21 - 4/25
    • 5 Weeks - Session 2: 5/2 - 6/6
  • Time:
    • 2nd/3rd Grade: 10:00am-11:30am
    • 4th/5th Grade: 11:30am-1:00pm
    • 6th-8th Grade: 1:00pm-2:30pm
    • 6th-8th Grade Experienced: 2:30pm-4:00pm
      • Must have 2 seasons of experience

Winter 2021 Recreational Field Hockey League

We will only be offering a 7th/8th grade Rec League this Winter Season. Our typical Rec League for players in 2nd-8th grade will be back in Spring 2021! In the meantime, check out our Winter Clinics. 

7th/8th Grade Winter Rec League
Looking to join an indoor team this Winter? Players can join with a group of friends or they can join as a "Free Agent" and be put onto one of Koa's house teams with other "free agents" and make new friends! The Indoor League will be traditional indoor rules, which IS different than Outdoor. It is fast and dynamic, so it will improve your stick skills, vision, and overall Field Hockey game!

  • When: Sundays 1/10 - 1/31 (4 Weeks)
  • Time: 9:45am - 11:15am
  • Who: 7th/8th Graders
  • Where: Koa Facility (4960 Boiling Brook Parkway, North Bethesda, MD)
  • Cost: $225

COVID Protocols
Koa will be following all CDC recommendations. We believe it is our responsibility to keep our players, families, and coaches safe while also getting to play our favorite sport! Our protocol includes:

✔️All players will need to wear a mask
✔️The clinic is closed to players and coaches only, NO spectators allowed
✔️Players will be required to fill out a COVID health screen
✔️If you feel unwell please do not attend games
