BASEBALL TRYOUTS

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Our fall tryouts are complete for the spring of 2021.  However, we still have a few BABL and Travel spots at various ages available! If you are interested in playing for Koa in 2021, please send a video with your son’s hitting and throwing mechanics (with DOB) to eryk@koasports.org.

Come check out why Koa is voted best; amazing fields, coaches, and administrative staff to get your son to the next level.

BABL Baseball

BABL is a select program, that’s superior to a local rec league, with less of a commitment to travel ball. Multi-sport athletes are encouraged to play BABL! BABL is offered to ballplayers in 3rd through 9th grades (exceptional 2nd graders will be playing “up”). There’s a weekly clinic, team practice, and games on Saturdays at Cabin John Regional Park (2 or 3-day commitment). The number of days is dependent upon grade 3rd-4th graders meet 2x/week, while 5th-9th graders meet 3x/week.
Click to visit our BABL page for more information and FAQs.

BABL A*: 3rd & 4th grade (10u)- Friday Clinics and Saturday Games

BABL AA: 5th & 6th grade (12u)- Monday team practice, Thursday Clinics, and Saturday Games

BABL AAA: 7th & 8th & 9th grade (15u)- Monday team practice, Wednesday Clinics, and Saturday Games

*Exceptional 8U athletes would be “playing up”

TRAVEL BASEBALL – Winter/Spring/Fall

This is the top level of baseball at Koa Sports.  Koa’s Travel players are elite and compete in the highly competitive Northern Virginia Travel League (NVTBL).  There are two practices during the week, an hour Saturday hitting session, and Sunday doubleheaders.  Travel baseball meets 4 days per week, we know this is a big commitment.  The Fall of 2020 Koa Travel Baseball will be offering the following age groups:

  • 10U
  • 11U
  • 12U
  • 13U
  • 14U
  • JV High School
